In my case, I think what caused the plug-in to go missing was that I killed a javaw.exe from my Task Manager, thinking it was something else but it was the one that Eclipse was dependent on. Eclipse came down but would not start up again. I moved only the one perforce plug-in it was complaining about - com.perforce.team.core.xxx, and that was enough. I did not get any error about a missing plug-in. Thanks again! Just wanted to say thanks for this.
