There is no regulation but their managing director has appeared on the BBC in the UK being interview about it.The bid winner get’s a great product at a very cheap price, while the company makes some great money.

Lol, why do the people have to be greedy and frivolous? Let’s be honest, Swoopo is one of the best examples of a win-win situation you’ll find. The bid winner get’s a great product at a very cheap price, while the company makes some great money, for a very good idea, and opportunity. I love the idea.

I have filed 5 disputes with Paypal because Swoopo will not ship the items I won and paid for right away using Paypal. And not only will Swoopo not respond to my emails, they will have not responded to the Paypal disputes after 2 weeks! I have suggested that Swoopo be banded as a PayPal vender becuase Swoopo is not shipping orders or responding to customer emails. I do get the Swoopo emailed newsletter so I know my email address works however I am not going buy/bid on anything else at swoopo having zero confidence that they are even shipping the items people win on their auction site!

Personally I don’t think they need to bid up the auctions themselves there are enough greedy and frivolous people out their to make it work without them getting involved.
